Booking

  • As soon as you can! I book on a first come first serve basis and don’t hold dates unless a contract is signed and retainer fee paid.

  • After you send me an inquiry I will send over any additional information. If you would like to move forward I will send you a contract to sign and invoice to pay the retainer fee.

  • With a required minimum booking of 4 services it is preferred you inquiry with an exact number. If you move forward with booking, services can be added but can’t be taken away after a contract is signed.

Previews

  • I book trials 2-4 months prior to the scheduled day of services. They are held at my studio space located in Woodstock, SE Portland. I am able to travel for additional fees if requested.

  • Previews don’t hold dates so in this case I only schedule previews with clients who have booked!

  • I book out 2 hours for the preview, this includes a perfect amount time to work through/stop to check in during a look and get to know all about my client :)

  • I think it’s a great idea to have both done so you can see the full look. If you can’t plan them on the same day then make sure to come to the trial with your hair done in some curls!

Day Of

  • If you plan on getting ready at your venue please confirm with them that you’ll have the time for more than just a couple hours. If not please plan on getting ready at a hotel/airbnb/family/friends house.

  • Yes I am an on location MUA and don’t have a salon/studio to host for services!

  • I book 1 hour for brides and 45 minutes for guests. Expect the time frame to be 4-6 hours depending on the amount of services booked.

Products/Prep

  • My kit has been strategically assembled with products I have used for many years that work very well with other products in my kit. I prefer not to use products I am unfamiliar with unless of an allergy as it could effect the quality of my work.

  • I encourage starting a skincare routine as soon as you inquiry with me, makeup will only lay on the skin as best as it is taken care of. I recommend getting regular hydrating or dermaplane facials as well as brow/lip waxes. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need referrals

  • A spray tan is a great option for your wedding day if you expect to want a nice bronzey, I recommend avoiding the sun so you don’t get unnecessary tan lines prior to wedding day! It’s best to get one before your trial as well so you can see if it’s something you want on your day of services!
